Boy meets Girl

When I was about 8 years old a neighbour thought it would be a genius idea to practice her hair cutting skills on my delicate little head. After one too many snips and apparently no parental supervision I was left with what could only be described as a "mullet". I remember running to the mirror and crying. I now had shorter hair than my brothers.

Not too long after the "incident" my family moved houses and so I started at a new school. I remember playing on the playground one afternoon by myself when another child came up to me and said "are you a boy or  a girl". I cried out that I was in fact a girl (kids can be so cruel). I of course was so embarrassed that I'd been asked what gender I was, I was a little girl who apparently looked like a little boy. Way to go self esteem! Being the resilient GIRL that I was I held my head (and my short hair) high and got over it.

The moral of this story? Well to be honest Im not sure there is one. Maybe the moral of the story is that no matter what gender you are (or what gender people think you may be in my case) you are beautiful. Ok, ok, I know that sounds a little corny. Maybe the moral of the story is no matter if people think you're a boy or a girl you can still be bloody HOT. Just look at Andrej Pejic. A beautiful girl.....I mean boy. If I looked like him/her I wouldn't care what people thought of me.

ANDREJ PEJIC- male.......female?
WHO CARES.....just enjoy the beauty.

  1. Don't worry Caz, the other day when I was doing a promo handing out free milk in a cowboy hat and shirt, an old lady said to me "thank you young man". I didn't bother to correct her though! It made me chuckle.
